Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Tammy, the founder of Salty Tiles.
I grew up on the coast, and I’ve never outgrown my love for the water. There’s just something about salty air, sandy feet, and endless sunshine that has always felt like home to me.
These days, I call Ponte Vedra Beach home, where beach life and mahjong have become two of my greatest passions. If I’m not working on Salty Tiles, you’ll probably find me by the water, on the golf course, or gathered around a mahjong table with friends. Those are my happy places.
I never set out to start a small business. Salty Tiles began with a simple idea and a whole lot of excitement. Before I knew it, that idea had grown into something I truly love. Every day brings a new idea, a new challenge, and another reason to be grateful for this journey
One of the greatest surprises has been discovering a new way to channel my creative side. After retiring from teaching, I found myself looking for a new outlet—something that challenged me, inspired me, and allowed me to create. Salty Tiles has filled that space in ways I never imagined, and this journey has become one of the most rewarding chapters of my life.
